Due to the numbers of people attending reunions reducing slightly but steadily each year, and to the need to control costs, it has been decided to hold the next reunion at a different venue, i.e. Horwich RMI. This is the home of the old British Rail social club at Horwich Loco works. This link will take you to their website

There will of course be every opportunity to meet old friends in a relaxing environment, together with a well stocked bar and an excellent selection of (buffet) food, including vegetarian. Parking is plentiful so we hope the venue will be to everyone's taste. It is certainly easy to find. The reunion will be on Friday 27th April, from 7.30 pm. Letters have now been sent out (end of Jan). If you do not receive one please advise our secretary, or you can print out an application for tickets here.
We are also very conscious of the need to keep costs to a minimum in the current climate. We are pleased to announce that the cost of tickets has been reduced to £12. This includes the buffet.
